00 Projects: Tri-ang Hornby repainted B12, a project please read

A Tri-ang Hornby repainted B12, motor runs with high current draw (>1 amp) and sometimes shorts, doesn't start everytime, changed pony wheels, in poor condition, no original box. Please note this chassis may not like newer Peco points due to deeper flanges and needs a controller capable of delivering 600mA once fixed
