00 Projects: Tri-ang Hornby Red Dock Authority, a project please read

A Tri-ang Hornby Red Dock Authority, motor runs well and the light works but there is an issue with the wiring and pickups as it often shorts out, dodgy soldered pickup wire, in good cosmetic condition, no body fixing screw, knurled driving wheels. Please note this chassis needs a controller capable of delivering at least 600mA to run well once fixed, and doesn't like new Hornby or Peco points.
